This mic has a poor sound quality that is very treble heavy and not clear it crisp. In addition, the mic only clips on to thicker headphone wires that are not really common for headphones any more, and the clip is not adjustable, so it was impossible for me to get the mic on my thin headphone wire.
tl;dr: I would only recommend these to anyone who needs a cheap mic for their headphones, but don't expect great quality. Anyone who buys this should also make sure the wire on their headphones is fairly thick. Overall, a very disappointingly mediocre product.
Whether it died through shipping, or from it sitting outside in the not-very-cold 6 Degrees Celsius for maybe a couple hours, it couldn't even meet that expectation.
And when it did very rarely work at all, the pickup range was poor, even at max volume and max decibel boost.
However on my PC the mic audio came in very quietly no matter what settings I changed.
This is a great product for anyone looking to use it for PS4, but leaves some to be desired on PC

You get what you pay for. For the price, it's not that bad. However, don't expect a crystal clear micPublished 1 month ago by tony
Should be $8 like it is in the United States, but this mic is really great for any pain of headphones.Published 2 months ago by Aaron Carter
Mic quality is sub-par, cannot reliably pick up my voice when wearing it on headphone wire as designed. Boosting the input results in extreme static.Published 4 months ago by Philip
Pretty quiet for some reason and the clip is too big to fit on most thingsPublished 4 months ago by Khaleel Motala
Does what it's intended to do, and works surprisingly very well !Published 5 months ago by Frédéric Leblanc
A ton of static cause you have to turn up the volume when it's clipped on you and not on a bomb.Published 5 months ago by Craig
