    1.0 out of 5 stars Junk! Aug. 1 2011
By Steve Hoover - Published on Amazon.com
It claims that it is great for corners, if only it were true. A tip of metal sticks out beyond the roller which nicely tears the wallpaper. I tried grinding a little of the tip off with a Dremel and the little bit of heat that generated caused the roller to no longer lock in the groove. So it got used on one sheet, tore the sheet at the ceiling, and now the tool is useless.

    1.0 out of 5 stars Nonfunctional March 16 2011

You would think that the manufacture of this tool would be quite simple and inexpensive to do well but lo and behold-no. The roller will not stay on the handle! I had to go out to my workbench and find just the right retaining clip to add to the tool in order to make it functional. Don't buy.

1.0 out of 5 stars Even at this low price...it's NOT worth it! Oct. 5 2011
    By J. Fallico - Published on Amazon.com
After just a few uses of this cheap item, the retaining ring that holds the roller on the handle broke making the item useless.

Don't be fooled by the very low price...you get what you pay for!

    1.0 out of 5 stars Broke March 5 2014

I got this to install soundproof matting in my 1966 VW Beetle. The white plastic roller broke in about 5 minutes with moderate pressure.

1.0 out of 5 stars Waste of money and time. Roller broke right away. Jan. 18 2014
By Amazon Customer - Published on Amazon.com
Would not recommend buying the Zinsser Seam Roller.
    Poor quality roller.
Before the plastic roller broke, I only finished 3 seams, each seam is only 3 feet long. The retaining ring broke off in such small slivers that I didn't even know the plastic was wearing down until the roller fell off the handle. The roller smeared glue away from the seam and glue stuck to the roller. I wiped glue off the wall and the roller several times. The roller is hard plastic and does not work on walls that have an uneven surface or bumps.
