We deliver millions of products to hundreds of countries worldwide. Our teams possess a wide range of skills and expertise, from business analysis and inventory management to engineering. Regardless of role, each Amazonian is completely focused on working hard, having fun and making history. We have career opportunities at fulfillment centres located in the Toronto and Vancouver metropolitan areas.
Facilities - We need technicians and managers with a strong technical background to maintain our equipment and keep the fulfillment centre running. This clean and safe work environment is also fast paced and innovative with limitless opportunities to develop upward.
Information Technology - Our IT professionals have a passion for technology, project management, and customer service. Our IT teams work on the floor to provide top-tier support to internal clients. A job in Amazon’s IT department provides a chance to take the lead on rolling out cutting edge technology and troubleshooting complex issues.
Operations Management - Our managers are on the floor leading teams as large as 150+ associates. They must exude positive energy and motivate others. Managers have complete responsibility for inbound operations, outbound operations and/or a functional process responsibility within the fulfillment centres. Our leaders must be able to effectively delegate, gather data and offer ideas for continuous improvement. They are responsible for making safety not only a priority, but a culture.
Safety - Amazon safety teams identify risk, promote safe working standards and are on the floor engaging associates. Medical Representatives, who each have a background in emergency care, are onsite at all times to provide patient follow-up and medical support. Meanwhile, Safety Managers must draw upon their strong program and people management skills to lead teams in identifying areas of improvement in safety policies and training.
Warehouse Associate - Amazon is seeking bright, motivated, hardworking individuals to fill Warehouse Associate positions. The ideal candidate possesses a strong work ethic, attention to detail, the ability to meet deadlines, and a commitment to customer service as it relates to product fulfillment. This position may be required to receive products using radio frequency scanners, relocate products using forklifts, pallet jacks and walkie-riders.
Seasonal Opportunities - we have hundreds of seasonal roles starting in late-October through December at our Canadian fulfillment centres. For more information please call 1-866-682-5627 (Job Code: 908S)
Amazon Development Centres
Be a part of building the first Amazon development centres in Canada! If you want to work with some of the brightest minds in the industry, have your brain be constantly challenged with hard computational problems and join a culture that values innovation, simplicity, frugality, and customer service, check out our development centres in Toronto and Vancouver.
We have recently opened our doors to the first flock of Toronto engineers at the Amazon Toronto development centre and the place is already buzzing with activity. We believe that there are many people living here who understand building software, issues of scale, and the importance of customer experience, people who are not afraid of technical complexity and are committed to finding the right answers.
The Amazon Vancouver development team will initially focus on helping to develop tools and applications that enable all Amazon engineers to deliver the best, most scalable and efficient technologies.
