I have no idea how I came to buy this book. Someone must have recommended it, Amazon must have featured it on the openning page to the site. However it happened, I'm glad it did. To often books tell stories I've kind of heard before, are twists on old themes, find a body in the garden and sleuth out the murderer. Trenchmouth Taggert tells a story I've not heard before, introduces me to a man who I could not have imagined. One is reminded of the diversity of human experience and the vastness of the human soul. Trenchmouth is as easy to love as a reader as he would have been to stare at as a wild mountain man. A journey through history with an unforgettable guide - you've just got to be daring enough to walk along side.
