This book is absolutely phenomenal. Not only does it recognize the complexity of our job as a teacher but it generously gives us many strategies to ensure and enhance our students' learning. Another one of Barry Bennett's practical and enriching books. With more teachers using strategies such as the ones explained in this book, boys as well as girls would be turned on by learning!All teachers must have this book on their shelf to consult and use regularly!

I found this book to be easy to read and very colorful: the authors are doing what they say in using brain based learning. However, "cdl_ca" ships the book from the US and the courier may charge a brokerage fee to handle the GST. In my case, UPS charged CAD $29.55 (plus GST) to collect GST of CAD$ 2.66 (on the value of the book).
