The book is divided into distinct chapters with additional headings throughout the chapter to make it easier to reference. Testimonials from experienced eBay sellers show how the information can be applied in the real world of the internet. A myriad of topics are covered including packaging, security, payment, photography and inventory. The glossary of eBay terms is very helpful in clarifying vocabulary. I laughed the first time a buyer sent me postage stamps for a payment. I returned the stamps and told them I accepted money orders or payment through pay pal. She did not laugh. She wrote a negative comment about the transaction and then filed a complaint against me. The litigation lasted for months and I was frustrated and confused. For several years I struggled with my site on eBay. I learned a few tricks on my own through trial and error.

Many powerful eBay sellers were reluctant to pass along any of their secrets. My site was floundering. I decided this enterprise was not for me. If only Dan W. Blacharski's book, `eBay's Secrets Revealed' was available to me way back then, my business would have been a success.

In the very first chapter Dan discusses name recognition. This is an extremely important concept in eBay auctions. Studies show that consumers feel comfortable with items and locations that are familiar.

Dan's information contains simple information regarding keywords that a first time seller may not even consider. The in depth chapter on accounting and taxes can literally save your business. Dan takes a step by step approach on how to succeed in your eBay business.

Make no mistakes eBay is a business and a livelihood for many individuals. Dan lets you know about security, customer service, fraud, payment methods and everything one needs to know to be a success in this burgeoning enterprise. Even the images you post reflects whether this item will be looked at and possible purchased.

Chapter 10 states the importance of positive feedback. This is not something you can shrug off. It can mean quitting your day job or failure. If terms like, second chance, reserve price, buy it now, absentee bid and insertion fee are foreign words to you, purchase this book.

This book can direct a novice, inform a buyer and lead an entrepreneur to success. The money invested in this book will ensure an easy and attainable transition in the art of selling on eBay. This information can also be applied to any other business project. After reading Dan's book, `eBay's Secrets Revealed' I feel confident to once again try my hand at selling and buying on eBay.

Blacharski's "eBay's Secrets Revealed" takes you on a complete tour of eBay from the moment you set up shop to the positive feedback in the end. In this book, you will learn everything you need to know about starting and maintaining an eBay business, including how to choose a marketable product, how to utilize keywords for top search results, how to save money on shipping, and most importantly, how to be a successful seller.

Along with real-life examples and interesting anecdotes from real eBay sellers, the book highlights the many common mistakes some sellers make that result in few sales or unpleasant feedback. Anyone who has ever been an eBay buyer can probably relate to slow package delivery, deceptive product descriptions, or poor communications. Blacharski teaches potential sellers all the necessary tricks to maintain a profitable eBay business without resorting to immoral practices.

In addition to the business side of the process, the book contains pertinent information from the computer and network side. Here Blacharski makes sure the reader understands the security risks involved in an online business and provides many useful tips to avoid fraud and crime related losses.

If you would like to open your own eBay store, or have already opened a store that is not making a profit, then before investing any money, it is recommended you consider reading this book. Even for someone who is an experienced auctioneer, the tips and tools this book contains will show a better way to profit from eBay.

When your purpose is to run a successful eBay store, having a detailed plan of how to accomplish this is essential. Providing access to the right websites or auction tools, this book describes how to first select the right product to sell, store and ship your product, and dealing with fraudulent buyers. This book walks you "step-by-step" through the setup process, advertising, and promotion. However, it shows you all this, but the way in which to market your store "with little or no money".

The beginning of the book explains what eBay is and the reasons behind its popularity. It describes the popularity of eBay, and how it has become revolutionary in online marketing. After reading the first few sections of the book, the concepts regarding eBay is better understood. This book was straightforward in showing how to write an eBay ad, by including the right words to encourage anyone to select your product.

The "heart" of the book was located between chapters five and twenty, and it contained information with everything from using and collecting money from foreign locations to setting a minimum bid or reserve price, and using SEO to attract visitors to your auction.

After going through the "heart" of the book, the book then lists a variety of miscellaneous chapters, which could have been condensed. Yet overall, running an auction without this book would be equivalent to going skydiving without a parachute. Not surprisingly, there is a section in the book entitled, "Crash and Burn!"

It's difficult to imagine finding someone who hasn't heard of eBay. For those who visit the auction site wondering how to get their feet wet in the business of online sales, this book is priceless. eBay's Secrets Revealed lives up to its name. It's a step-by-step guidebook of what someone new to the world of sales needs to do to be successful.

The most appealing thing about this book is how it's laid out. This book is fundamental to anyone even considering selling something on eBay. Many people approach eBay with trepidation not even certain about what to sell. eBay Secrets Revealed includes a chapter on how to choose items that will a) get noticed and b) sell quickly. Both are necessary to the success of any eBay seller. One thing that this book presents, that puts it in a class all its own, is the information regarding pricing, payment and fulfillment. This is obviously an integral part of what an eBay seller needs to know, and even someone unfamiliar with how eBay works will be an expert seller by the time they are done reading.

Real life examples of successful eBay sellers are strewn throughout the text. It's obvious that the author choose this approach to emphasize how easy it is for a "regular" person to be successful selling everyday items of eBay.

With all the money saving tips and insider secrets anyone reading the book will want to set up an eBay store immediately. It is worth noting that the author does stress repeatedly throughout the text that hard work and a professional approach are mandatory.
