The glass is too thick and doesn't allow the screen to close- thus should you want your screen to close I suggest a thinner film/ protector.

Keep reading this review because I'm going to get right to the point.
The shipping was fast and the glass screen protector for my canon 60D was packaged well and just as described upon opening the box... A+ there right ? But keep in mind one thing when you purchase this item which I did not know until I installed it... The vari-angle view finder will NOT close all the way to the point where it snaps shut with the screen facing inward. I don't know about you but I did not want to force it being glass. But let me explain something... You can leave the view finder locked in place with the screen facing out. 2 reasons why this should not scare you.

#1 Less wear and tear on the view finder from opening and closing
#2 The screen is still protected

Finally, my personal opinion is that the glass is unquestionably more durable and that the pros outweigh the cons here. I probably should have given this item 4 stars because I did not see this little hiccup disclosed anywhere in the description. But truth be told it has redeeming qualities. So I close my eyes and give it five stars.

Thanks for reading

Do not purchase April 24 2012

This product is very flimsy and will break. The shipping will cost more that the item. Took a dslr workshop at NBC/Universal and they mentioned that it is best to purchase film for lcd screens. Protrusion also loosens thread and fit space per the DP that was a guest at the seminar. Not worth a return for a new item and taking the $4 loss as a lesson learned.

These are great! April 6 2012

My wife and I both have Canon 60Ds, and I use these screen protectors on both of them. The fit perfectly and look like an OEM product. Made of real glass and won't scratch easily. No need to turn the screen around (which you can't do on most cameras anyway). Now there's no concern with leaving the screen facing out, always ready. NOTE: This protector won't let the flip screen close completely when installed; it won't quite click into closed position -- so just plan on leaving the screen open at all times. After you do this for a while, you won't even think about it any more.

Not impressed, you get what you pay for. Next time I'll look more carefully and be more wise in buying this type of item.
