1.0 out of 5 stars The Max version does not equal the windows version., Dec 29 2008
By Rick - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Band-In-A-Box 12 (CD-ROM)
I bought Band-in-a-Bpx 12 for Mac. It came with several video tutorials. On disk one, "learning a tune," there is a feature called "Step movement" in which you can control the playing of chords or notes one step at a time. It is the best way to learn and listen to chord progressions or a tune. I could never get it to work on my Max, so I called the tech support and found out that the Mac version does not come with this feature. Only the windows version has it. Well, I think they should let you know you are not getting every thing they say on their ad. I wonder what else is missing that they're not telling me? Other than that, every things works well.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wha...?, Feb 11 2008

This is stated to be a Mac version in the title, in the platform requirements, and in the product description! Four times in all. I can't believe three computer literate people gave such an excellent software program a poor rating because THEY failed to read the description.
I have used Band In A Box since it first came out and is perfect for what it does!

Hey guys with the mac version,

I did the same thing as you but I am a mac user and accidentally ordered the windows version. When I realized it was to late to return it. Now I'm stuck with a program I can't use. If either of you still have your mac version maybe we can exchange. Let me know. Just post another comment and we can go from there.
