This is one Poirot story in which the famous sleuth is nearly baffled. While vacationing on the Cornish coast, Hercule and his friend Hastings become convinced that the beautiful and carefree Nick Buckley, who lives in the mysterious "End House" nearby, is the target of a determined murderer. Each character in carefully and skillfully brought to life with the usual aplomb by the wonderful Hugh Fraser. No matter what the plot's twists and turns, Fraser makes it all believable and easy to follow. There is never a question of who is who as Fraser does a beautiful job of making each character an individual. It's all good old-fashioned mystery fun. D.G. © AudioFile 2007, Portland, Maine--

Review
"There is always room for more Agatha! These graphic adaptations dish up the quintessence of Christie. There are, in other words, lurid melodrama, plenty of weird and wonderful coincidences, lashings of period-perfect style and a thorough workout for the little grey cells." Observer "Agatha Christie is a classic of her genre. These are good stories. Now they can be accessed in different ways." Times Educational Supplement "Along with their brilliantly noirish covers, the books are intended to reinvigorate Christie's murderous tales! Mixing their quintessentially English tales with a continental taste for comic books, the series will appeal to graphic novel fans who may not otherwise discover Agatha Christie's most enduring stories."
