From the Publisher

Finding Ourselves is Like Flying An Ancient Biplane Coast To Coast: There Are Storms Ahead, But Oonce We've Started, It's Too Late To turn Back.

4.0 out of 5 stars Boring? No!, Oct 29 2003
By ragwing (Mississaga, Ontario) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Biplane (Paperback)
Indeed, "a reader" is correct ... this book contains little or no philosophy per se (it's much closer to "Stranger to the Ground" than to "Illusions"). But it is NOT boring, particulary if you have even passing interest in aviation (and if you don't, why are you reading Richard Bach?!).

5.0 out of 5 stars An Odyssey of flight, Sep 21 2003

This review is from: Biplane (Paperback)
This is truly a delightful odyssey of flight through time and space, into unknown dimensions. Simultaneously lovely and spine tingling. An amazing portayel, Richard Bach has a way of arranging words to describe the indescribable!

4.0 out of 5 stars An Echo of my Experience, Jun 2 2000
By Julie G. Jones (Louisville, KY) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Biplane (Paperback)
In Richard Bach's words, the emotions of flying come alive to the reader. As someone who has experienced those same emotions in an ancient biplane, I was moved to tears while reading my deepest feelings put into words.

4.0 out of 5 stars This early book shows a lot of pilot and a little philosophy
