The last of Thurber's books published before his death in 1961 and a splendid collection of his miniatures.
A variety of encounters with women, men, and other children as well as some less confusing creatures.
It contains an eloquent denunciation of man-eating (or at least, Thurber feared, Thurber-eating) house cats.
A collection of humor and satire with author's trademark whimsical drawings.
This book is good sampler of the things Thurber could seize and devour.
WITH AN INTRODUCTION BY PETER DE VRIES.
