The Alchemist is a wonderful, magical journey. I encourage anyone and everyone who has ever had a dream to read this book. I've read it twice, but I am sure I will read it again and again. In accordance with the signs and omens of the story of Santiago, the first time I fully read the book was on the night of a Lunar Eclipse. Before that, though it is a simple book, every time I went to read it, I fell asleep. So, when the moon was eclipsed, and the world was so obliged, I read The Alchemist. When the time is right, and you are ready to learn about life from a simple sheperd boy and a fabulous South American writer, you too should read this book. You won't ever be the same.

Tampoco entiendo el éxito de este libro. Me pareció pedante y presumido. Concuerdo con que tiene poco valor literario, como han dicho otros aquí.
