Review
As against her pouter pigeon historical novels, this is one of Miss Anthony's equally ornamental rendezvous with death with a lot of activity at every pulse point. Take Elizabeth Cameron, only niece of an American arch-conservative billionaire Huntley who is entrapped in his political coup-disaster; or Peter whom she had loved four long years ago, now CIA; or Keller, Communist-hired to kill for fifty thousand dollars and a passport for his Arab girl who will be one of the two victims here in lieu of Elizabeth who now falls in love with him however unworthy he might at first seem; or, or, or, all building up to an assassination in St. Patrick's Cathedral on St. Patrick's Day. To the admirers of Helen MacInnes or Martha Albrand it probably won't seem as unreasonable as it sounds but it should be read in color. (Kirkus Reviews)
