When one of the villagers too is killed people begin to wonder: could it be the work of a werewolf? This review is from: Seeking Whom He May Devour (Mass Market Paperback)

The story itself is passable, but the book has been translated into English that hasn't been used for almost 100 years: "He's the sort of bloke who'll have you out on your ear in no time at all if you give him grief."
In the end the language used in the book became a trifle trite (to use a fittingly archaic phrase!) and detracted from the story.
