I am using it as a textbook. I have to say that some of the materials in this book are too needlessly technical. This is supposed to be an 'introductory' book for anyone who has no knowledge about the subject. It would look scary to many beginners. Most of the concepts of the subject are generally well-explained. Hoewever, there are times when the authors fail to explain in a concise and easily understandable way. The grammars are sometimes clumsy. Is it a good book? Yes and no. Yes, because the price is reasonable, and the contents are thorough. No, because of the things mentioned above. So take your bet!

My husband is taking AutoCAD Drafting and Design at a note worthy technical school and out of all the tech books they have reviewed this one stands out with the most precise and informative information. This is the first year they offered this program.
