From Library Journal
For the musically inclined or those just interested in a good mystery, Langton provides a Homer Kelly title centered on a suspicious fire that destroys the First Church of the Commonwealth's pipe organ and incinerates the church sexton as well. More problems arise with construction of a new instrument. Line drawings accompany the author's crisp prose and musical allusions.

Resounding organ music introduces this entertaining Homer Kelly mystery about the installation of a new organ, replacing one destroyed by fire, in a posh Boston church. An abandoned baby, its missing mother, accusations of paternal child abuse and vandalism in other churches are among the many interwoven subplots laid out for the listener. King does a fine job differentiating between voices in character and gender. The technical aspects of "voicing" a new organ are explained well. There's some difficulty in recognizing changes of scene or flashbacks, but attentive listening will overcome this. M.M. (c)AudioFile, Portland, Maine
