4.0 out of 5 stars Good Read, Jul 24 2009

All of the between the numbers books are a little out there, but if you can get over that then they're very entertaining. Visions of Sugar plums was my least favorite of them all, but still just as good as the regular series.

4.0 out of 5 stars BIG LAUGHS!!!, Jul 9 2004
By sonia (CA, USA) - See all my reviews
I did not find this book as a disappointment I thought it was funny, yes a bit Christmas-y but good to read around the holidays. Some parts in this book I found my self lol. I really enjoyed this story, it a was fun to read around xmas. Stephanie is still as fun as ever & her crazy family. And Lula was hilarious when they went xmas shopping. This is a remunerable book. I love it & I did not found it a waste of money. I thought through the whole book it was exiting right anyway if you like the Stephanie Plum series you'll most likely enjoy this book. I remember no wanting to put it down like most Stephanie Plum novels.

4.0 out of 5 stars Not as good as the other Stephanie Plum novels, Feb 8 2004
By M. Howard (New York) - See all my reviews

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Stephanie Plum novels.

I LOVE Ranger and Morelli (don't we all wish we had our own?).

I didn't like this one as much. I like the real characters. The main characters in this one were so unreal and it took away from the book.

I did enjoy it, though.

I can't wait for 10 to come out.

I love the Stephanie Plum series. This book is a disgrace to the series. The plot is boring, unbelievable and just plain stupid. Read more

4.0 out of 5 stars Ms. Stephanie meets Harry Potter.
First let me say that this is just a fun 3 star book, but I laughed out load often enough to give it a 4th star. Thjis is not Frank Capra and there is no jimmie Stewart. Read more

I thought this was a book JE just threw together. It was silly, quite insulting to the avid fan. Let Stephanie stick with Morelli and Ranger. I like the sparks from them. Read more

1.0 out of 5 stars Poor excuse for mystery and fantasy combo.
I was attracted to this book as a bit of lighthearted holiday fluff. I love both mystery and fantasy novels and books that can do both are well worth the time. Read more
