The story slowly takes you in and keeps hold of your every emotion. I walked in the feet of these women, saw their native home, as though I was from there and felt the pulse of every unknown corner. I later purchased the audio book hoping for a more authentic trip. The mother's voice (Mehr Mansuri) was deep, dark and full of irony and regret....
