5.0 out of 5 stars Life Altering, Aug 20 2002
By Andrew Kahn "AK" (Denver, CO) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
This book not only changed my view of Limp Bizkit, but my view of books in general. It even changed my life, prompting me to shave my head, donate all my possesions, and live a life full of veracity and empathy. Mr. Devenish captures the heart and spirit of The Bizkit in whirling Hemingway meets Hunter Thompson prose. Like other readers, I sleep with this book.

5.0 out of 5 stars I used to be a german, Oct 17 2000
By Nicholas Tangborn (Granite Falls, WA USA) - See all my reviews
Excluding the times when I was a german, there were several occasions of Irish. Then i was adopted by three strong women from Santa Cruz; they had yards full of car parts and gourds big as oxes. Mayflies came through, then died. Maria Shriver visited on occasion too; we had sweaty interactions behind the house. This book made me an Alsatian.

5.0 out of 5 stars for a road trip, Oct 16 2000
By cohassetgurl (lodi, ca) - See all my reviews
i always hated this band and thought they were jerks. somehow, through the magic of prose, mr. devenish breathes life into the putrid offal that i once thought was limp bizkit. i read it on the way to my summer cottage in somerville, ma. i was so tickled to learn the band's favorite foods. i eagerly await the issue of more books by this gifted, upcoming writer.

p.s. like greg heller, i also love men now b.c. of this book. amazing!

If God wrote a book on Limp Bizkit, it would be this book. An amazing profile of '99's hottest band.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best Book Ever Written
This is the best book ever written, better than anything Joyce, Kafka or even Anne Rice. This book changed my life in one minute. I now love men.
