Product Description
When Evan Evans and his new fiance decide to visit his mother in Swansea, they're not expecting the disturbing news that greets them on their arrival: The young thug convicted of murdering Evan's father, who only served a few years for that crime, has been charged with a new murder. But when he meets the boy face to face, Evan doesn't find the stone-cold killer he expected but a scared young man who swears his innocence. Against his own wishes and the advice of his superiors, Evan believes the boy. He decides to investigate, at potential peril to his career. Will he choose justice for the young man over his own career advancement? And what of his father's murder that has haunted him for so long? Evan Evans is up to the chal-lenge, to be sure, and faces it all with characteristic good humor and the Welsh charm that sets Rhys Bowen's success-ful cozy series apart.
