5.0 out of 5 stars An Excellent Book on PHP 5, Jul 26 2007
By Darko Halilovic (Toronto, Canada) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
In this PHP 5 Advanced book, Larry points out new PHP features through good examples. He touches many advanced topics and grabs readers full attention on every single one. Book's content recognizes questions coming from Larry's readers on the forums he personally finds time to administer and addresses them in appropriate chapters throughout the book. Available mentioned forums and other features of his web site such as code downloads and newsletters for example supporting this and all other Larry's books ensure his readers are satisfied and updated. One has to appreciate this dedication to readers. One segment comprised of three book chapters that is absolutely critical in making the whole book excellent buying choice is on Object Oriented Programming with PHP 5. These chapters are well placed amongst other chapters using Object Oriented Programming examples. Some of these examples such as creating a shopping cart are even compared with structural programming examples in this same book one can find very helpful in learning process. Larry did another great job keeping his writing level clear and concise efficiently extending someone's PHP skills.
