If you are a fan of Richard Corben's distinctive colour artwork, you need to avoid the Del Rey reprint of "Werewolf" like the plague and hold out instead for a used copy of the original edition, published by Catalan Communications. The Del Rey reprint was scanned from the Catalan edition, with the predicable result being that the colour, which in the Catalan edition is clear and vibrant, is now a muddy mess. The same is true of the Del Rey reprint of the "Edgar Allan Poe" book by Corben; it's also been scanned from the previous, Catalan edition. Sad thing is, some people are going to buy these two Del Rey reprints and wonder, what's all the fuss about Corben? And what a shame that will be! Next time, Del Rey, I suggest that you reprint it right, or don't reprint it at all!
