Told in typical Debbie Macomber style, this is a fun read involving a romance between a naval executive officer, Royce, and his subordinate, the cute, smart, feisty Catherine. Tripping and stumbling on their way to love, their escapades make them totally irresistable. You'll find yourself unable to put this one down until you find out their fate. This is a great book for the plane or beach. You'll find it totally engrossing and just plain fun.

I read all of the books in Macomber's "Navy" series and this was my favorite. I liked mostly the fact that for once both of the main characters were in the Navy, not just the male lead. Catherine is a great character, she is successful in the Navy JAGC and even though she hates Royce at first, she falls in love with him and his daughter. This book you will not want to put down, right to the happy ending.

This wa the first book I have read by Debbie MaComber and I found it great! Although it was not the typical steamy romance it had a great storyline with superb characters!! I would give it a try. This book is also a quick beach read, I read it in less then a day!
