3.0 out of 5 stars Continuing Series..., Jun 3 2003
By Heather L. Mulhern "Heather" (Chandler, AZ USA) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
Yes, the back of the book is VERY misleading...for these three stories... but this is going to be a series that will come out with one book a month until May 2004. The next book is "Enemy Mind" by Maggie Shayne (to be released in June 2003) and she will be telling Zach Ingram's Story. As we get deeper into the series we should find out a LOT more about the genetic manipulation and the adoptions. On the inside cover of "Broken Silence" there is a list of the books in the Family Secrets series and when they will be released. "Broken Silence" included just the first three stories of what hopefully will be a wonderful series!

1.0 out of 5 stars Truth in advertising?, May 22 2003
By Boddicea "code tinker" (Indianapolis, IN United States) - See all my reviews
I have to agree with the previous review. The blurb on the back of the book is TOTALLY misleading. If you're looking for something like what the book is supposed to be..try Iris Johansen's "Last Bridge Home" or Kay Hooper's "Evil" trilogy.

1.0 out of 5 stars What is this book really about, May 18 2003
By A Customer
Reading the back of this book one would think that the stories would be interesting. Boy am I sorry that I even bought it. All three stories at least mention the scandal about the gentically experimented children that were adopted out but that was it. None of the people in the stories were involved in the scandal. The stories involved matchmaking grandmothers.
