2.0 out of 5 stars Not on par with other Rogers novels, Sep 17 2002
By SusieQ (New York) - See all my reviews
I was very disappointed with this novel. I've read & enjoyed many Rosemary Rogers novels before, but this one was boring from the first few pages. I had to force myself to finish it. The plot was basically a re-tread of scenes from her prior novels, and none of the characters were particularly likeable or involving. Nothing new or fresh here.

What can I say about this book that hasn't already been written by other reviewers. This book is great...and I loved the ending it left me breathless. Nick and Tory are believeable charactors. Wish Rosemary Rogers would do a sequel to this book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Loved it, April 15 2000
By A Customer
Can't say it enough - I just love Rosemary Roger's style. Maybe it's the sexy brooding type that I find so appealing in Nick Kincade and Steve Morgan (Sweet Savage Love). This book though was a bit too close in story, character, etc. to Sweet Savage Love - my only complaint. I'm glad though the promiscuity was dramatically lessened. I'm a true romantic at heart, and yes I do believe that Nick Kincade fell in love with Tory, regardless of his cold, "jerk-ish" ways. I wish Rosemary Rogers would write more books. I've tried other authors, but I can't get into the corniness of some of the books. I do enjoy Lisa Kleypas, but thus far, my favorites are still Sweet Savage Love and A Dangerous Man by Rosemary Rogers. Write another one!
