4.0étoiles sur 5 this book was okay, Juil 29 2002
Par tammy (chicago, il United States) - Voir tous mes commentaires
when a group of children are kidnapped, xena and gabrielle join
in the search to find them. they are joined by attlanta, who is
a goddess who cannot be defeated. but the enemies that have the
children have other ideals for the 2 fierecest women known in
ancient greece. a decent read for all xena fans.

3.0étoiles sur 5 A pretty good book, but....., Juil 9 2002
Par Un client
This was a pretty good book, but could have been better. The character of Atalanta was already established in Hercules: The Legendary Journies and I had that character in mind when I read it. The Atalanta in the book and the Atalanta in Hercules were two totally different people (the one in the book is a complete jerk!) and that is one of the reasons I didn't like it. Also, the way Gabrielle was acting, too many "Ooohs" and "Aaahhhss". I can actually say I have never seen Gabrielle bite her fist over anything.
I know how hard it is to write about established characters, it's not easy at all. All in all the author did a pretty good job.

3.0étoiles sur 5 Things could be worse . . . ., Fév 2 2001
Par "m_jade" (St. Johnsbury, VT United States) - Voir tous mes commentaires
Personnally I found this book entertaining enough to read several times. I admit that characters are not completely true to form. However I suggest an experiment: Write a story about Xena. See how true-to-form perfect your characters are. The story is still a good read.

The plot is a little plain and the fights aren't wondurously developed. Use your imagination to fill in the blanks. It is more fun.

4.0étoiles sur 5 Not as good as Empty Throne, but still a must read
This book was awesome! The riddles were fun, and the characters were put on a very realistic level. While I enjoy The Empty Throne better, this is definently still a classic Xena... Read more

1.0étoiles sur 5 I'm glad this book is out of stock
It's a wonder how easily real trash can be published. Ru Emerson ignores completely the ancient Greek mythology. Read more

This book was alright, but i have to say that some of the things Ru had said, well Xena would not do. This comment goes for the other Xena books he has written. Read more
