Product Description

A great new Liverpool novel from the star saga author -- it’s 1934 and Cathy and Jane are forced to grow up fast when war breaks out.

About the Author

Katie Flynn has lived for many years in the Northwest. Many of her early stories were broadcast on Radio Mersey, and the reminiscences of family members prompted her to start her very successful series of books about Liverpool. She has also written books as Judith Saxton.

This review is from: Down Daisy Street (Paperback)
"Down Daisy Street" is another great book by English author Katie Flynn. Starting out in 1935 Liverpool, the reader meet Kathy Kelling a young girl who life changes in one day. Meanwhile, in Norfork, Alec Hewitt is also facing many challanges. So war comes to Britian, and they will meet.
Katie Flynn is one of the few writers that are able to the reader into the action of her book, and this is one the reason that I try not to miss any of her books.
