4.0étoiles sur 5 AZKABAN, Mai 27 2004
Par Josh (Salt Lake City,UT USA) - Voir tous mes commentaires
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban is a very interesting book that captures your imagination from the very beginning until the very end. This book starts out like every other Harry Potter book, but you quickly get involved in the plot. Early in the book you discover Harry's parents died (which is one of the main secrets of the Harry Potter series). Many new characters are introduced into the book. Some of them become instant favorites and you immediately hate. J.K. Rowling makes the new characters seem believable even though they are strange and mysterious. One of the new teachers was one of Harry's father's friends, so Harry quickly becomes friends with the teacher and finds out many things of his father. Before the year ends, Harry is forced to confront the man who is supposedly responsible for his parent's deaths, but the mortal combat ends in a conclusion that you would never suspect. I really enjoyed this book and I hope you will too.

I bet you've heard this before but-If you haven't read this book, turn off the computer and go read it! This book, really, is almost unbeatable! Young Harry Potter is dropped on his Muggle realitives doorstep because his parents were killed by the darkest evilest wizard ever, who is known as You know Who. When Harry turns 11 he recieves a visit from a mysterious half-giant named Hagrid. Finding out he's a wizard, Harry Potter is shuffled off to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, where he is known as the boy who lived because he survived the curse of You Know Who. While there he meets loyal friends, hated enemies, and battles up to the least you would expect. This book will capture your heart and you will laugh and cry at the same time. You will be very pleased with all of them!

5.0étoiles sur 5 What else can be said?, Mai 6 2003

(REAL NAME)
These books have been picked apart by critics, who are dying to find out why they are such a phenomenal success. There have been books written about these books, and blockbuster movies made from them. Why? Is it the panoply of mythologically derived characters? Is it the old-fashioned English boarding school setting? Is it J.K. Rowling's witty and depricating writing style?

Or is it magic?
