Graham Masterton has done it again with a the end of the world book concerning a super plague which decimates the U.S. East Coast and its horrifying social and political consequences. The characters are well defined and the book is written to be an easy read and he writes good characterization while not burderning the leader with useless chaff. In the end you feel for the characters but of course this being a Graham Masterton book, the ending will always surprise you.
