About the Author

Almost all have been number-one international bestsellers. His first book, The Naked Face, was acclaimed by the New York Times as "the best first mystery of the year" and received an Edgar Award. Before he became a novelist, Sidney Sheldon had already won a Tony Award for Broadway's Redhead and an Academy Award for The Bachelor and the Bobby Soxer. I read this book when I was a teenager, and to this day I remember the story as if I read it yeserday-I am now 26.
It is the best Sidney Sheldon book-along with If Tomorrow Comes-I have read.
A romantic suspence that is engrossing, and emotionally engaging. It spins you into a world of politics, mafia, and sexual seductions, and above all a tale of a woman's endurance that love may not conquer all.

This was an awesome awesome awesome read... I have read all of Sheldon's books, and I think this has got to be among my very best.. I read it all the time. I know every page and ever word .. letter.. This is a must read..!!
Jennifer Parker, Strong, yet vulnerable... I won't spoil the story.. READ IT!
