From AudioFile
This is the true and inspirational story of a daring rescue during the height of the tension between the U.S. and Iran after the fall of the Shah. Ross Perot, the dynamic head of Electronic Data Systems, mounts an attempt to free two key employees who are being held captive by Iranian extremists. Unfortunately, the gripping account is not well served by this reading. While billed as a full-cast recording, this re-release from1984 is actually delivered by two male voices who just ping-pong the narrative back and forth. They didnt coordinate pronunciation, so they sometimes, annoyingly, pronounce names differently. Some of the pacing is too fast, and the transitions are often too short. For lovers of Follett and Perot, there are other versions of this exciting story. M.C. © AudioFile 2007, Portland, Maine--
