3.0 out of 5 stars Another typical "Murder She Wrote", Aug 18 2009
By Juran Liu (Ontario Canada) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
This is another typical "Murder She Wrote" book - looking good, sensational for a TV episode, but there is always something not satisfactory.

1. Two murders were done by one person. However, one body was stashed in a life boat, while the other was thrown overboard. It doesn't make logical sense to me.

2. Mary Ward played a more active role than Dr. Watson in the book. It was she who recognized the victim's former lover. She also had a theory, which was confirmed by J.F.

3. The key evidence of this case is the surveillance video. The mystery could be solved without Jessica Fletcher.

4. It's too convenient to have a handful of people related to the victim one way or another on board. Hardly credible. It's on QE2, not Oriental Express.

5. Rip's script found in the victim's room was not explained. It's true that Rip was the victim's son, but given the terms they were on, I could not conceive how the script came into the victim's possession.

6. Special meals of pasta rife with garlic? Give me a break. The author always uses this kind of stuff to complicate the matter than the matter really is.

5.0 out of 5 stars Murder On The QE2, Jun 2 2002
This book is one of the best Murder, She Wrote books in the collection of 17. It is a definate page turner! Very hard to put this book down. Jessica Fletcher is at it again, when on a speaking event on a cruise ship crossing the Atlantic, murder strikes. One of the best parts of the books is that the murderer is on the ship, and cannot escape Jessica! There are so many twists and turns, just when you think you have solved the case, Jessica, with a new friend she meets on the ship, prove you wrong. I definately reccomend this book to any Murder, She Wrote fan!

4.0 out of 5 stars Great detail regarding ship......., Aug 28 2000
By A Customer
I sent this book via Amazon to arrive at the hotel prior to us boarding QE2, what fun I thought !!! for my wife.

We've read the book both onboard and again later, we both agree the story is real fine but what we really liked was the detailed ship descriptions - if we were not onboard we would wish we were.

A fine book backed up by its correct backdrop descriptions.
