5.0 out of 5 stars If you have worked in politics, you will love this book, Oct 2 2009
This book cracked me up. I lived in the UK for many years, and saw the author on TV many times. I picked the book up out of curiosity, and immediately loved it. For anyone who has worked as a volenteer or a paid staffer in politics, no matter what the country, his stories will hit home and make you laugh. I still pull mine out whenever I need a chuckle. It is also a great story about the maturity of a young idealist into a somewhat jaded realist, realized as he congratulates Tony Blair on election night, 1997.
