This is by far the best single book zombie story I've ever read.
The book has EVERYTHING a zombie fan could possibly ask for.
Mayberry created such a wickedly awesome character in Joe Ledger that he has you wanting more of the character, not just the story, by the end of the book.
The storyline is far different from your average zombie novel/story and it's a refreshing take on the genre. But within this different take, he still manages to feed you lots of typical zombie action. . . however, when Joe Ledger steps up to take down zombies you're in for some seriously kick a*% action! I'm gonna keep this short, despite the fact that i could totally go on and on about how awesome this book is. The only disappointing thing is that the next Joe Ledger book coming out doesn't have zombies in it. . . however I will be reading Dragon Factory just to follow more Joe Ledger mayhem. But Patient Zero is an ABSOLUTELY MUST READ and in my opinion OWN!
