5.0 out of 5 stars BE CAREFULL WHAT YOU WISH FOR....It might just come true...:, Nov 29 2001
That's the moral of this book, yes it actually has one!!! Anyways this is the story of a girl named Samantha Byrd, a clumsy 7th grader who is constantly made fun of, and especially by a fellow team mate on the basketball team Judith Bell, a crude snobby jerk who thinks she's the next best thing besides Michael Jordan.

When Samantha helps an old woman and the woman she helps wants to grant her wishes, she doesn't believe it. But makes her first wish anyways. Unfortenate for Samantha she isn't very carefull with her wishes for revenge.

This book isn't all that bad, just read it yourself you'll see!!! And it has a twist ending, not the best ending, but none-the-less a wicked twist!!!

God Bless ~Amy

3.0 out of 5 stars I liked the book but not what I was looking for., Jan 31 2002
By A Customer
I liked that it was a mystery book because I love mystery books. I didn't like the part where the girl teased her all the time because it happens to lots of people. I liked the part where she meets the old lady and she gives her three wishes because of what she did for her. All I wanted was to find out what happens at the end.

I have read all but 3 of the Goosebumps books. Most of the others are awesome, but I hated this one. This book wasn't scary, and it was just way too descriptive

4.0 out of 5 stars Three Evil Wishes...
Samantha Byrd is such a klutz. Her worst enemy, Judith Bellwood is always making fun of her. Since an old woman granted her three wishes, Judith & Samantha better watch out

4.0 out of 5 stars Not good, but not bad.
Getting what you wish for in a bad way is cool, but the "bird" ending is dinky.
