Product Description

Book Description

Humorous stories of funny tourists and outback people. Tourists can be funny, strange and eccentric. The local people in the Outback of Australia might seem different too, with their laconic attitude and slower pace than city slickers. What better way to observe them than by traveling as tour guide, cook and driver on outback safaris? For many years the author did just that. Here are his yarns of the humorous sides of his travels. It is not a travel guide, just observations of people and situations in the Big Country. This first bundle of stories of funny people and comical events in Australia is based on the writer's experiences.

About the Author

Willem, who now resides in Oregon, lived for 20 years in Australia. Half that time he worked for tour companies traveling the Outback, showing tourists the wide-open spaces and the wonders of nature. A storyteller who still longs to go back to the bush finally wrote his first bundle of stories.
