Book Description
Two brothers, their conflict. From ancient times to a nuclear device in NYC. Two cultures, their earthly struggle. The deadly spiral painfully, inexorably unfolds.
The Bomb is an historical fiction that begins in ancient times with two brothers. The conflict between the two brothers serves as an universal template upon which the dynamics of all human history is transposed. It is the middle novel of a trilogy. Real Characters leads off the trilogy and The Bridge closes it. The Bomb is a suspense story which traces the circular nature of human violence specifically as it has been expressed in the Arab-Israeli conflict. Employing a minimalist literary technique, The Bomb is superficially simple, hopefully readable by as wide a range of audience as is possible while not at all compromising intellectual content. It is a gut-wrenching test of heart and conscience, yet teasing enough to be entertaining. Short and succinct, readable in a single sitting, it is a novel designed to challenge and provoke. I believe it is a read you will not easily forget or be able to readily dismiss.
