Christine Louise Hohlbaum's witty and gracious writing captures the all-too-true maxim that, in any language, a mom's problems are easily translatable and identifiable. Through a series of captivating, adorable and insightful stories, the author causes us to chuckle, groan and roar with laughter, as we see our own coping methods brought to the surface. Her descriptions of life as an expat parent make us admire her fortitude all the more, evoking Adam Gopnik's 'Paris to the Moon.' Hohlbaum has brought the timely topic of journaling to new heights and will hopefully inspire other mom's to write their experiences for posterity - much as I myself did. A quick, wonderful and fun read!

DIARY OF A MOTHER, PARENTING STORIES AND OTHER STUFF by Christine Louise Hohlbaum is an entertaining, delightful collection of diary entries that could also be titled, What Every Mother Thinks, But Is Afraid To Say Aloud. Ms. Hohlbaum explores the day to day trials and tribulations of juggling motherhood, work, marriage, and major life changes in a way that will bring a smile to your face and have you nodding in sympathy and understanding.

I highly recommend this as required reading for all fathers and
husbands!
