5.0 out of 5 stars The All Seeing Eye, April 22 2004
By A Customer
This review is from: The Third Eye (Paperback)
I thought that The Third Eye was a wonderful book. Lois Duncan did a great job. She made the characters seem so real. I'm not into psychics but the way she developed the story made it intriguing. This book is more of a girl book. It has some romance tied in with mystery, but the way Duncan mixes it makes it more of an action novel than romance. I would recommed this book to sixth graders and up.

5.0 out of 5 stars best lois duncan book so far, Jan 29 2004
By A Customer
This review is from: The Third Eye (Paperback)
THE THIRD EYE is about a girl who has visions about missing children.Karen can see where missing kids are. She doesnt want to though.A police man asks for her help, but she doesn't know if she wants to help him find missing kids.
Ms. Duncan is an excellent writer. She has written many books such as SUMMER OF FEAR, DAUGHTERS OF EVE, STRANGER WITH MY FACE,the ever popular I KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER and many others. She is my favorite author and I have a lot of books by her.If you are a fan of mystery and drama, you should read this book.Ms. Duncan writes with such suspense that I want the book to keep going even after I've finished it.I just cant wait to pick up another by Ms. Duncan.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Third Eye Review, Oct 15 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: The Third Eye (Paperback)
The Third Eye by Lois Duncan is great. This book was reveling the life of a teenage girl with a gift that she doesn't want. This is an oddly interesting book with a super natural twist.
In the third eye there is a teenage girl with a gift, she doesn't really want. When Karen turned 18 her gift came to her, but by accident. Now that she has the gift of finding missing children she has many decisions to make. She is slowly getting sucked in to using her gift. Her biggest decision to make is whether to use or lose her gift.
This is an oddly interesting book. I really loved this book but, if you don't like supernatural stories you would not like this. This is a sad funny dramatic and different kind of book. The only weakness I found is the way the author introduces different characters and that is the authors fault. This was very well written. It had an easy to fallow plot and was intriguing at the same time. This is an excellent and enjoyable book for everyone.
Many different tastes would like this, because it is very vertical. This book is unusual and fun. This is an awesome book to read, and so you should really read it.
