Product Description

After all she's been through, Valentine is ready to leave that remote mountain community forever. But Umbrella isn't finished with Raccoon city. Too much evidence of their unethical and immoral research still exists. It must be recovered or destroyed - and quickly - before it can be traced back to Umbrella. And with William Birkin's mutagenic virus already spreading through the city like wildfire, drastic measures are needed. Under cover of night, mercenary teams have entered the city, along with something else, Umbrella's failsafe: an evolved version of its Tyrant class killing machines, a lethal creature codenamed Nemesis. Now Nemesis is on the hunt. And Jill Valentine is about to become prey.


About the Author

S. D. Perry is a novelist living in Portland, Oregon.  She is currently lives with her husband, Myk, her two children Cyrus and Myk Jr, and their two dogs. She mostly writes tie-in novels based on works in the fantasy/science-fiction/horror genre, including Resident Evil, Star Trek, Aliens and Predator. She has also written a handful of short stories and movie novelizations. Her favorite Star Trek series is the original series, with her favorite characters being "The Big Three" - Kirk, Spock and McCoy.

This novelization is based on the video game. It is a must if you like the game! If you are not a player it is still enjoyable. It is one of the best of the series!

I'd have to say, this Resident Evil book in great. I disagree that the book is way too short. S.D Perry provides us with all the action that was sacraficed from the game, and brings it into one book. She expands on the plot so much, giving you all the details of each character. You'll find yourself reading about Jill, then in the next chapter, Carlos, then Nicholi, the Mike, etc. She doesn't miss anything, she lets you know what was going on in Jill's life before the incident, and the how the death toll continued to rise, until all hell broke lose. She adds in the violence and swears that couldn't be put into the game, for obvious reasons. The ending is great, and this is a must-have for a die-hard Resident Evil fan, even if you don't enjoy reading that much, if you like RE, you'll be able to connect with this book. Definently check this one out. 5/5

S.D. Perry has created a genious novel to Resident Evil fans. Though some still may not like S.D. Perry's work, I appreciate her great novelization of the video game based novels. Nemesis is a perfectly good example of what she is capable of in my eyes. Within this story you go through Raccoon City as ex-S.T.A.R.S. member Jill Valentine, finding help throughtout the city with Umbrella Rescue Fource Carlos and Mikhail, who are al lstriving to get out of the zombie infected city.

This novel captures genious detail and extra thoughts that I absolutely love. I had this book read in about a week and a half. To some that may seem like eternity, but it usually takes me a month to read a book this size. This book will be charished for many years to come by me.
