This is one of the best Christopher Pike books I've read.
It's true; there is a lot going on in this book. With aliens and ancient spirits... different dimensions, and a current timeframe filled with sorrow and grief. It can seem a bit overwhelming, but I think it works quite well.
The teaser for this book gives you absolutely no idea what the book is really about, so ignore that.
I like how Pike keeps with his theme that time is constant... and that it repeats. Forever. It's very chilling... very suspensful.
This is a rare mixture of strange elements that can be pulled off by Pike.

When Merry lost her boyfriend, she was in a serious panic. Will she ever live through this, will she find a way out.

This book was fun to read. The characters were great and funny. You would always want to find what would be next when you read at least one chapter. This book will bring you a lot of laughter once you get in to it.

I would recommend this book to people who like horror and adventure.

i dont read much, but i've read a couple of books by chris.. and this is a good book like the other books it involves dreams, i guess he's got a thing for dreams. well anyway this book scared the ... out of me and i enjoyed the whole book. and i read it faster than i usually read books its size. well hope u enjoy the book coz the aliens rule in this book

While the tale in itself is fascinating, it's definitely not one of Pike's best. A lot of the chapters were short and choppy, and the plot doesn't flow as well as it could. Read more
