Product Description

Three-ring acts and thrice-told talesBring threefold power that never fails.Gypsy legends, Gypsy lore,Gypsy demons haunt no more.

Prue is in a serious funk. Her latest photo assignment for 415 is an in-depth article about the Carnival Cavalcade -- circus acts in a tent, and a midway with games and food. Prue hates circuses, but Piper and Phoebe are up for meeting the tattooed snake-charmer, clowns, and especially Ivan, the handsome Gypsy animal trainer. But a dark sign seems to mark him, and Phoebe has a vision of Piper -- strangled by a handsome stranger!

Could Ivan be a demon in disguise? A mysterious fire and a tragic death compel the Charmed Ones to use their gifts. Now it's the Power of Three against the magic of ancient Gypsy forces!

3.0 out of 5 stars not the best, Jun 3 2004
By emma doddle (phoenix, az) - See all my reviews
this is not the best charmed book as i found it a bit dull and predictable in places but if you are a major charmed fan it's still good to read as it links in more with the series than previous books

4.0 out of 5 stars Predictable Ending.....But Good, Nov 2 2002
By **ErIn** (Jersey) - See all my reviews
This wasn't one of the better "Charmed" books. It started out OK, but around the middle of the book, it got predictable, and then it just seemed to drag on.

Prue has an assignment to take pictures of a circus performer, Ivan. Ivan has an unusual gift of playing the violin, its like his animals are memorised by the music he plays. Meanwhile, Piper and Phoebe (who tagged along) are having a good time, and enjoying themselves. Phoebe then has a premonition of Piper being strangled by a hadsome stranger, and then the Charmed Ones research Gypsy magic, the dark side of it. They then begin to wonder, is it Ivan who was strangling Piper?

Prue's a photographer for 415 magazine. She and a reporter, Kristen, have to do a story about the circus. Piper and Phoebe tag along. They meet Ivan, a gypsy animal trainer, and after Phoebe has a vision of Piper being strangled by him, the girls start snooping to find out whether or not Ivan is a demon. A mysterious fire and a tragic death have "The Charmed Ones" using their powers against the ancient Gypsy forces.
