i thought that this book was great! (IF YOU WANT TO FALL ASLEEP) i just finished reading this book for school (what a surprise that its boring, as all things for english are) not only was this book BORING its was so pradictable. like "oh i could have never guessed that was going to happen" like who calles themselves "link" or "shelter" like hello if your going to change your name at least make up a good one. TOTAL RUBISH!!! although im really not surprised as this smelly old book is like 50 years old (or 12 or sum thin like that but 50 sounds betta!)

4.0étoiles sur 5 Stone Cold, Jui 30 2004

I thought Cold Stone was a good book,it could have been better in places. I found the "Daily Routines" rather amusing because the are writen in an whitty way by the auther, Robert Swindells. The "Daily Routines" are about a murder called shelter. A quote from Daily Routine Orders 4:
"I have aquired a cat. this was my finishing touch.I can't abide the arse-licking, hair- scattering beasts myself, but you have to admite that there's something reassuring about a homewith a cat in it. A cat speaks of warmth, comfort, placid domesticity. A man who owns cat can't possibly mean anybody harm, can he?"
This probable one of the most amusing parts of the book. As shelter is a murder who owns a cat. i would recommend the book to anybody.
