5.0 out of 5 stars Gossipy, Nov 27 2007
By Kenny G. (Surrey) - See all my reviews
Cecily von Ziegesar nails down all that wrong with teenagers and everything surrounding them in this great book about growing up.

Loved this book with its references to drugs, teachers lusting after teens and all the gossip. Would also recommend the book THE WOMAN WHO CUT OFF HER LEG for something equally entertaining.

5.0 out of 5 stars Gossip Girl #8 just as good as #1, Mar 26 2007
By Marie-Eve Poliquin (Edmonton, AB.) - See all my reviews
This is the 8th installment in the Gossip Girl collection and it is just as good if not beter then the others. It is exciting and juicy and a book that I just couldn't put down. Every chapter was interesting and kept you wanting more. I found it intriguing that some of the characters seperated and that there were more individual stories then one big anecdote. I found by exploring and following characters on their own, you could discover more about the characters and really see their personalities shine.
I recommend reading any of the Gossip Girl books and continuing on with the series. This book and all in the series for that matter are great reads for those who dread reading. It's not like a normal book, it feels like it could be anyone of our lives just a little exaggerated. I promise if you start you won't be able to stop yourself!

4.0 out of 5 stars The eighth installment of the bestselling series, Feb 28 2006
By Cordelia Kwon (Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada) - See all my reviews
-Full of scandal, excitement and shameless characters, the Gossip Girl series continues, and another one will be released in May, titled Only In Your Dreams.

-Nothing Can Keep Us Together is like any Gossip Girl book---full of assorted drugs, sex, swearing, backstabbing friends, fashion, and what else? Gossip. The identity of the all-knowing online "Gossip Girl" phenomenon is still not revealed in this novel. As the jampacked cast of characters get ready to graduate (finally!), the usual kind of drama ensues.

-Concerned parents who worry that their children will be influenced by the sometimes inappropriate content present in these books shouldn't. Most teens (the target audience) should be able to identify what's real and what isn't.

-Gossip Girl fans should enjoy this novel (although some of the themes are getting repetitive and overused) as much as the previous deliciously gossipy books.

-Newcomers to the series should definitely start from the very beginning so as to get acquainted with all the characters (believe me, there are a lot!)
