Physical therapist Lilah Mason takes on her toughest case when she begins working with Adam, who not only challenges her methods and authority but also wins her heart, as Lilah faces a tough choice between professionalism and love. --This text refers to the Audio Cassette edition.

From the Publisher

For the past few years, Lilah Mason has watched her sister find love, get married, and have children, while she's been more than content to channel her energies into her career. A physical therapist with an unsinkable spirit and unwavering compassion, she's one of the best in the field. But when Lilah takes on a demanding new case, her patient's life isn't the only one transformed. Her new patient, Adam, challenges her methods and authority at every turn. Yet Lilah is determined to help him recover the life he's lost. What she can't see, until it's much too late, is that while she's winning Adam's battle, she's losing her heart... And as professional duty and her passionate yearnings clash, she must choose the course right for them both. --This text refers to the Audio Cassette edition.

5.0 out of 5 stars Adam's Fall, Sep 14 2008

This review is from: Adam's Fall (Paperback)
I fell in love with this story and its characters.
I read it when it first came out and read it at least once a year.
I also recommend FANTA C by Sandra Brown since it was the prequel to Adam's Fall.

5.0 out of 5 stars The ONLY good book by this author..., Aug 21 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: Adam's Fall (Paperback)
I honest to goodness don't know how most of SB's books get published. She's proof I guess that publishers settle for writers with very little talent. Readers shouldn't settle for bland, uninspiring writing when there are so many wonderful books out there! Though I'm sure she possesses it, this author uses no imagination when creating her stories - stories that have very similar plots. ADAM'S FALL, while predictable, just had the magic touch. It was enjoyable. I wish all SB's books could be so memorable.

5.0 out of 5 stars Adam's Fall, Jun 26 2003
By K. Morgan (United States) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
This review is from: Adam's Fall (Paperback)
Adam's Fall is the story of Adam Cavanaugh, an extremely wealthy hotel owner who falls while on an outing with two friends. He is the only survivor and while doctors say he'll walk again Adam doesn't believe it and has went into a dark, depressive mood. He needs the best of physical therapists to help him walk again. Enter Lilah Mason, sister of Elizabeth, one of Adam's closest friends. Lilah is the best physical therapist and goes to Hawaii to help Adam walk again, even though she can't stand him.

This was a very good read. The story moved along at a quick pace. With the hard cover edition reaching just over 200 pages the story was told well, in what seemed to be just the right amount of pages. Nothing was lost in this story and it didn't drag along. The characters were very entertaining. Adam was well written in the fact that he's angry and scared of the possibility that he'll never walk again. Lilah is a fun, sassy woman who knows her mind and speaks it. She comes across as very strong and independent. Pete, Adam's housekeeper, was a delight. His character added charm to the book. Then the evil girlfriend, Lucretia von whats her name, added just the right amount of conflict for a love triangle. She is definitely the character you'll love to hate. She gets her just desserts in the end though.

Adam's Fall was a good, entertaining book to read. It is so good it can be read in just a day or two. Very well written and easy to read. Great job Ms. Brown.
