Book Description
Samantha Rosslyn returns home to the small Kent village of Bourne-on-Sea tocare for her grandfather and take up the reins of the family-owned brewery. Orphaned in childhood, Sam retains a fierce love for the man who reared her and for the home he gave her, so when she discovers that the business is bedeviled by old-fashioned manufacturing processes and is in need of a large injection of cash to make it viable, she does not take the easy option and accept a competitor's offer for the firm. Instead she puts some odd but enterprising ideas into action to raise some capital - schemes which attract a bevy of dubious characters and sets the locals by their ears.
