I knew of Blair Brown from the screen. She always seemed like an interesting, attractive person with a charming quality about her. What happened with this book-on-tape? Her tone seems to drip with a kind of unexpected arrogance. It really detracts from an otherwise interesting story. Sorry, Blair...

Assistant District Attorney Alexandra Cooper investigates when museum intern South African Katrina Grooten is found dead in a sarcophagus. This was interesting (especially compared to the author's earlier novels), though some bits could've been left out. (B+)
