Product Description

As redhead Molly Kincaid traveled blithely through the forest on her way to her grandmother's house, she came upon a Wolf ... His name was Wolf Trevelayan--his enormous stature and dark, penetrating gaze made him an intimidating, almost frightening presence in these deep, dense Maine woods. And what she knew of his tangled past frightened her too. The strange death of his first wife, his sinister habits, his secretive demeanor--they all pointed to Trouble. But for Molly, no rumors could trump the deep attraction she felt--a lust for Wolf that consumed her body and soul. She would willingly bow to his wild ways, even if it meant leaving everything she loved and allowing him to guide her into the unknown....

Ingram

Her heart captured by the very sight of handsome Wolf Trevelyan after he confronts her in the forest, Molly casts aside her concerned grandmother's reservations in order to pursue her instincts. --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.

3.0 out of 5 stars Little Red Riding Hood Revisited, Jan 13 2002
By Brenda Condit "satinskper" (Albuquerque, NM USA) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
This was a very good book. I liked the Little Red Riding Hood twist to it. The Heroine, Molly is a sweet, giving, innocent, loving girl who meets up with the Wolf(thats his name) while walking to her grandmother's house. Wolf is a man who has lived the past 7 years being ridiculed and shunned by stangers and even his so called friends. He is determined not to love Molly. Not even to need her. He marries her with the intention of just bedding her and then leaving and going back to his life in NYC, but somewhere along the way Molly gets under his skin. He suddenly finds that he does need her and takes her along with him to NY. They have many obstacles to over come before they can find the love that they both need to survive. I enjoyed this book and will probably by more of Linda Jones's books.

5.0 out of 5 stars Exceptional!, Mar 27 2000
By Mandy (Lufkin, Texas) - See all my reviews
Not only is _Big Bad Wolf_ an interesting and highly exhilarating take on the tale of Little Red Riding Hood, it is a remarkable story of two people desperate for a love to take away their pain. These two people find that love in each other. Wolf is quite temperamental and even hard to love. You'll find yourself rolling your eyes and wishing fervently that you could choke him with your bare hands. But, there's something about that guarded, secret quality of his that makes him vastly appealing. You often wonder why Molly doesn't give up on Wolf while at the same time you admire her for sticking it out. Their's is a unique and tumultuous love, but at the same time deep and touching. Ms. Jones (who also writes under the name Linda Winstead) has a keen wit and inherent ability to keep the reader immersed in the story and oblivious to the real world. I'm looking quite forward to reading more work by Ms. Jones and highly recommend this book to anyone wanting to escape for a brief time into a land where Faerie Tales come true.
