Product Description

Product Description

Pogo wants to have as much fun as his friends, but life seems to move so slow. Will his plan to shed his turtle ways succeed, or can he learn to be content with how God made him? Ages 6-10.

Ingram

Pogo had a problem. Because he was a turtle, he couldn't do most of the fun and exciting things he saw those lucky boys doing. He was angry until he discovered why he was made like he was. Then, being a turtle became something very special. --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.

5.0 out of 5 stars Janette Oke can write about animals., April 22 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: The Impatient Turtle (Paperback)
This was the greatest book I've ever read. The last three pages really showed that Janette Oke is a good writer. The kids are always coming to the creek and swimming, and Pogo has to sit and watch them the whole time they're there, wishing he could be like them. I felt sorry for the turtle because he was always trying to do things that the boys were doing, and he could never do it because he wasn't created to do that kind of stuff. At the end, he realizes that his shell comes in really handy. --Andy
