1.0 out of 5 stars Garbage!, Feb 10 2004
By A Customer
This review is from: Savage Ecstasy (Paperback)
This book contains all of the worst cliches of Native/white relationships. He treats her cruelly when they first meet, but she cannot help but be attracted to him. He makes her his slave and she loves him. He tortures her emotionally and she loves him. He offers her to another brave and she loves him. He nearly whips her to death and she loves him. He threatens to kill many innocent people unless she comes back to him, and she does. And on the very last page he finally decides he loves her and that they will live happily ever after. Crap, crap and more crap. I wish I could give it less than 1 star! I will avoid this author like the plague from now on.

4.0 out of 5 stars Their love was fanned by forbidden flames..., Jun 24 2002
By Tami Brandt (Missouri, USA) - See all my reviews

This review is from: Savage Ecstasy (Paperback)
It was like lightning striking, the first time they looked into each other's eyes: Gray Eagle, the captured Indian brave, and Alisha, the beautiful young settler. As the proud Oglala warrior was being tortured by his white captors, only Alisha seemed to notice that he was a human being -- handsome and strong, and one who took her breath away. But if Alisha could have read Gray Eagle's thoughts she would have been even more disturbed. Because from the moment he saw her, the Indian knew that he had to possess the fair-skinned one -- and his life would not be complete until he had made her his slave!

3.0 out of 5 stars Savage Ecstasy, Oct 9 2001
By Shellie (Off a dirt road, AR) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Savage Ecstasy (Paperback)
Believe it or not this is the very first romance novel I had ever read. Here it is over 15 years later, and I still love this book. The emotion between Alicia and Gray Eagle is very intense, so is the storyline in this book. I won't give anything away, but this book is not for the faint of heart. Because Alicia is his captive, Grey Eagle is quite brutal, and even cruel at times. If it bothers you to read about the hero getting violent with the heroine, this is not the book for you. The entire Ecstacy series is great, but I liked this book the best. I recommend that if you love Native American romances, you will like this one. Even though this book has a lot of sentimental value to me, I still rate it a three because of the violence Alicia receives from Grey Eagle. Still it is worth the read.
